Fibre Optic Fusion Splicing is a specialist process. Netcom are highly experienced in this area and our engineers are trained to a very high level in the latest techniques. T Microscopes are used to examine the quality of each fibre optic end to ensure the quality is high. Once the quality of the end is determined as acceptable the fuse is then made to bring the two parts of fibre optic cable together as one continuous line. The bare section of the fibre optic cable is then recovered by the fibre optic cabling contractor with a splice protector or recoating with the protective layer. After testing the cable is determined and certified as "good to go"! NetCom's Fibre optic cable splicing equipment is the latest state of the art fibre splicing kit.
